Want to be netted?

There is a really great daily email newsletter service called Netted put together by the Webby’s team. You can sign up for it at netted.net. It’s almost always worth a quick read.

In the past few weeks there have been emails about Away Find a service that scans your email inbox so you don’t have to and alerts you by a choice of SMS, Twitter or Instant Messanger. You can set your filter criteria and choose to ignore everything else. Hey it’s all part of that Get Things Done philosophy.

Then there was Stereomood a streaming music site that tries to match it’s tunes to your mood. I’m currently listening to the ‘Writing’ theme and it started with an amazing cover version of Arcade Fires ‘No cars go’ by Maxence Cyrin. Choice bro’ as my Kiwi mate would say.

One I particularly liked is Vizibility, a ‘SearchMe’ button that you can add to your site or LinkedIn account to lead people to the right areas on the Web that you want them to see first. So I can steer them to my professional looking blog before they reach the Facebook photos of that all night party I went to the other day.
